Are you a skilled Paramedic or Advance Practitioner who enjoys urgent care and frailty? Lawrence Hill Health Centre is looking for you to join our friendly, supportive team.
We are looking for an independent, and motivated primary
care Paramedic or Advance Practitioner, to provide urgent care, home visits, and support patients living with dementia in the community. You'll have the autonomy to make clinical decisions, while being fully supported by a collaborative and experienced team.
The right candidate with demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with our diverse patient population and have an understanding of health inequality. Strong clinical knowledge, independent practice, and primary care experience are important.

Main duties of the job
The post holder would expertly assess, provide differential diagnosis, and treat acute episodes of minor health, injury, and illness conditions. Working alongside the triaging duty doctor you would see patients face-to-face and then, with your professional competencies, organise further tests and follow up as need be.
You will see and assess acutely unwell housebound patients. You will help support and review patients living with dementia in the community. Home visits are an integral part of the role so the ability to travel to these is essential, as an inner city practice this could be by bicycle, car or using Bristol's electric scooters.
