About us
Netherfield House is a very friendly Practice, with care and fairness at the heart of our service delivery. We have excellent patient feedback via our monthly Friends and Family submissions with 97% rating us Very good (87%) or Good (10%). We meet as a clinical team weekly and also make time each morning to discuss any issues that may be pressing for a team outlook.
We always receive excellent feedback from attached staff working with the Practice, and have built a network of Clinicians (GP, Nursing and Pharmacy) should we ever need them as they find it a pleasure to work here.
The Practice consists of 7 senior clinicians (6 GPs & 1 ACP) working a variety of sessions part time. This ensures that we have a range of specialisms that cover the large majority of conditions. The additional support that we have from our high performing Primary Care Network (Cramlington and District) provides a holistic level of care for our patients. Our PCN provides support and offers extended access through the week, and at weekends, to provide additional GP capacity for those patients that work during the day or have difficulty attending for other reasons. The PCN also provides a visiting services that reduces the need for home visits during the week for GPs etc.
We have good continuity of care, and rated in the top 10 performing Practices within the North East and Cumbria ICB area in the 2025 GP Survey. Access is particularly good and this new role will further enhance that.
