Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Associate to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team at Brookside Group Practice at 16-20 hours per week.
Previous experience of nursing or working as a Health Care Associate / Assistant in General Practice preferred

Main duties of the job
Job Summary:
- to work as a member of the General Practice Team
- to perform the following tasks safely & efficiently working within agreed protocols.

The successful candidate will have previous practical experience of Venepuncture and Blood pressure checks.
They will work as part of a team supporting clinicians and patients by carrying out clinical support, infection control, restocking and stock rotation tasks.
Other tasks could include but not limited to:
Suture removal
ECGs
Spirometry
Dressings

The Practice serves approximately 31,000 patients from our 4 surgeries in Earley, Lower Earley, Winnersh and Wilderness Road.

We, therefore, spend a lot of time investing in team meetings and communication across the organisation. We are a member of Berkshire West Clinical Commissioning Group.
