Job summary

Are you practical, good at troubleshooting and seeking a new challenge for 15-20hrs a week, flexible over 5 days?

We are a large medical practice with over 31,000 patients seeking a Facilities Management Lead to be responsible for resolving operational issues and also maintenance of buildings infrastructure, assets and equipment at all BGP sites.

The successful candidate will have the ability to resolve issues whilst also having an interest in managing administration of facilities schedule.

You will be part of a strongly relational team structure, where we endeavour to listen well, encourage ownership and involvement and enable staff to blossom in their individual development.

Main duties of the job

This individual will communicate with all departments in a timely manner in order to maintain the smooth running of all equipment, systems and assets at each of the BGP sites so that all departments can operate efficiently and effectively. They will be responsible for identifying and procuring suitable replacement parts and materials at an optimum cost and delivery. With joint responsibility for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment at all sites, the Facilities Management lead will report into the Operations Support Manager and work with other managers in developing the sites in response to changing business needs.

The Practice serves approximately 31,000 patients from our 4 surgeries in Earley, Lower Earley, Winnersh and Wilderness Road.
