Main duties of the job

The post holder will work 5 sessions per week across Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, providing high-quality, patient-centred general medical care. Clinical duties include routine and follow-up consultations with 15-minute appointment slots, allowing time for safe, thorough assessments and continuity of care.

The role is non-duty, with no requirement for on-call or duty sessions. The successful applicant will be well supported by two experienced GP partners, with easy access to clinical advice, regular informal discussion, and a strong team-based approach to patient care.

THE JOB

Very well supported by two GP partners.

Five sessions per week:

Wednesday 2 sessions

Thursday AM 1 session

Friday 2 sessions

15-minute appointments.

No duty sessions.

Opportunity to teach if desired.

BMA model contract.

Professional indemnity fees and appraisal package subscription included.

Daily mid-morning coffee break with the clinical team.

Whole practice meetings, significant event meetings, palliative care meetings.

Designated off-street staff parking area.
