Job summary
Acklam Medical Centre is looking to recruit an experienced or a newly qualified nursing associate, to support our clinical nursing team and improve our patient services within our practice. This role is offered on a full-time or part-time basis. If you are able to be flexible over days/shift patterns please let us know in your application.
Main duties of the job
- To support the organisation and facilitation of clinical care, in a holistic and proactive manner, to patients registered at the practice, as partof the general practice nursing team and under the guidance of a registered general nurse.
- To maintain a high professional standard of nursing care, in adherence to all practice protocols, policies and guidelines, as well as to provide nursing assistance to the GPs and other members of the Acklam Medical Centre team.
- To demonstrate flexibility, in line with the present atmosphere for change within the health service delivery.
- To work within your own level of competency, and expanding the role in accordance with practice requirements and own scope of practice.
