Job summary
Fireclay Health are looking to appoint a highly motivated and forward thinking individual to work within our hardworking team of established Patient Navigators.
We are looking for part-time or full time with flexible shifts available.
Main duties of the job
You will be the first point of contact for all our patients whether on the telephone in our main hub or at the front desk.
You will need to be confident in signposting our patients to the most appropriate clinician or service depending on their medical needs and also answer a variety of queries relating to hospital appointments, referrals, prescriptions and much, much more.
Provide
general assistance to the Practice team and project a positive and friendly
image to patients and other visitors.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Assist and direct patients to ensure they access the appropriate service or healthcare professional
- Book appointments face-to-face and over the telephone in our call hub
- Contact patients to pro-actively book appointments and check attending an appointment
- Take messages, ensuring accuracy of detail
- Recording patient information via the IT systems
- Provide patients with information regarding test results and other investigations
- Deal with all general enquiries, explain procedures
- Ensure that all new patients are registered promptly and accurately
- Provide general assistance to the Practice team and other visitors via the telephone
- Administration tasks
Undertake any other additional duties appropriate to the post as requested by The Management Team.
