We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join our team.

Working under the direct supervision of the Lead Practice Nurse and strictly in accordance with specific Practice guidelines and protocols, the Phlebotomist will assist the Practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of Phlebotomy Services and contribute to the effectiveness of the team
Main duties of the job

- Obtaining consent from the Patient to collect blood samples
- Confirmation of the Patients identity by obtaining their full name, date of birth and address
- Ensuring the patient is as comfortable and relaxed as possible
- Collection of sample(s) of blood in accordance to our phlebotomy protocol
- To follow our sharps disposal protocol and to have up to date BLS training

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our friendly and exciting General Practice in the West Midlands. We are easily accessible, just off the M6 exit J10. We also have staff only parking onsite.
