per hour
Main duties of the job
In this role you will provide a high level of administrative support to the practice team.A key responsibility will be to undertake administration tasks on behalf of the GP, freeing up their time to focus on patient care
The ideal candidate will approach their work in a courteous, professional and efficient way.You will show initiative, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, be pro-active, have excellent organisational and communication skills and ability to work calmly under pressure.

the clinical records database. To include the death administration process.
- Undertake, alongside the Patient Services Lead,
managing the registration of new patients (via paper copy or through
Healthtech-1) and administering the GP Registrations Links System

- Three GCSEs Grade A-C (or equivalent) including English and Maths
Desirable
- Education to A Level
- Customer Service NVQ 2 (or equivalent)
Skills and Knowledge

- IT skills (MS Office, Internet etc)
- High level of attention to detail with a methodical approach to tasks and strong organisational skills
- Good understanding, acceptance and adherence to strict confidentiality
- Ability to communicate effectively and with patience
- Ability to use own judgment, resourcefulness and initiative
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively whilst staying calm under pressure
- Ability to work effectively both alone and within a team

- Previous experience of administration requiring working accurately and at pace
