Job summary
Trinity Health Group PCN are looking to GP Assistant at 20 hours a week to work as part of the multi-disciplinary team within primary care, supporting the
smooth running of the surgery and the outreach team. Roles tend to focus
primarily on a combination of administrative support and routine clinical
duties.
GP Assistants are required to either hold prior to
appointment the GP Assistant Certificate, or to undertake the Certificate if
they do not already have the qualification.
Please note that shortlisted candidates will need to bring proof of qualifications and right to work (passport or other suitable document) to interview.

Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities include arranging appointments, referrals and tests, and monitoring and drafting clinical correspondence. Those involved in clinical duties are likely to perform a range of routine procedures under direction including, but not limited to phlebotomy, blood pressure, pulse checks, ECG, BMI, health checks, LTC Part 1, assisting minor surgery, joint injections.
