Job summary

Hornspit Medical Centre is looking to recruit a GP Receptionist to join our friendly and enthusiastic team.

The role is Monday to Friday with various shifts between 7.45 am 6.30pm. Hours available are from 16 per week but sickness and holiday cover will be required.

You will also be required to help cover adhoc monthly practice Saturday for our Network Extended Access 9am -5pm (usually rota based)

The ideal candidate should have experience working in an administrative role with good communication and IT skills, preferably in an NHS setting.

The job includes engaging with patients face to face, handling incoming calls, logging data onto the EMIS system (experience desirable, however not essential), updating patient records, dealing with sensitive information, booking appointments, and sorting prescription requests and medical queries. Using our online triage system BLINXS

About us

We have approx. 4600 patients that cover West Derby/ Norris Green area.

We have 2 GP partner, 2 long term locums, ANP, PAs/ PN and support from our primary care network
