Job summary

Healthcare Assistant

Rough Hay Surgery are looking for a Part-time Healthcare assistant to join the existing team. The post holder will provide a range of services to patients including Phlebotomy, BP pressure checks, NHS healt checks, new patient screening and Long term condition clinics.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will ideally have training and experience in the following areas:

1. Phlebotomy (Essential)

2. BP monitoring (Essential)

3. Oxygen/temp/pulse etc monitoring (Essential)

4. Undertaking ECG's (Desirable)

5. Immunisations - B12, Flu, Pneumo (Desirable)

6. Wound Care (Desirable)

The Healthcare Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining good infection control standards within the practice.

About us

We are a small but busy practice based near the centre of Darlaston. The practice promotes a friendly yet professional atmosphere for both patients and staff alike.

The Healthcare assistant will work under clinical supervision of the practice nurses and the GPs.
