Job Summary:

We are a friendly GP practice in Hersham seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care . Your knowledge of anatomy and patient care skills will contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.

Duties:

• Perform routine nursing duties, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and dressing wounds
• Cervical Screening
• Immunisations
• baby Immunisations
• Annual patient checks for chronic diseases
• Educate patients on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Monitor and manage patient symptoms and progress
• Provide support and guidance to patients and their families
• Adhere to all healthcare regulations and protocols

Qualifications:

- Valid nursing license in [state/region]

- Proven experience as a Practice Nurse or similar role

- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology

- Excellent patient care skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

You will be expected to take part in Infection control audits, Emergency drug audits, cervical screening audits and re-calls
