This position is for 27.5 hours a week, working Monday to Friday, 1.00pm to 6.30pm.
Bournbrook Varsity Medical Centre is currently looking
for an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated GP Receptionist to join our
leading healthcare team. The successful candidate will have excellent customer
service, computer, and organisational skills to help complete the day-to-day
tasks.
As a GP Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing the patient
flow within the Medical Centre. You will also ensure professional and courteous
customer service to patients, staff and visitors.
Main duties of the job
Responsibilities:
Greet incoming patients and visitors and assess their needs
Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and other staff
Manage patient bookings, inquiries, and cancellations via telephone,
email, or in-person
Manage patient records and confidential data in a secure and efficient
manner
Monitor online traffic and assist with online booking systems
Help maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all patients
Assist with general administrative and clerical duties
Carry out other tasks as assigned by the Reception Line Manager
Comply with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
Previous experience in a GP reception or customer-facing role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional and friendly customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Computer proficiency with experience in EMIS, Docman, AccuRx &
Microsoft Office packages
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to multitask, work independently and take initiative
Ability to follow and adhere to office practices and procedures
