Job summary

We are looking for a Workflow Administrator to join our friendly team. The post holder will be responsible for filing clinical letters received in Docman, coding relevant information from patient's clinical records into the computer system and actioning documents.

Main duties of the job

  • Filing clinical letters into the patient's electronic record
  • Coding patient's records, following receipt of hospital letters
  • Notification of relevant staff and organisations, following receipt of information from external organisations
  • Actioning requests within documentation relating to our patient's care
  • Understanding the patient record system, recall, coding and reporting requirements for QOF
  • Understanding the impact of clinical and non-clinical data input
  • Ensuring organisational and individual KPIs are met
  • Duties commiserate with level of responsibility and aim of role
  • Auditing and reporting where required

About us

Our practice is in Tamworth, a small, but growing, town in Staffordshire. We have a list size of approximately 14000 patients.

The surgery has six partners, three salaried GPs and a team of advanced practitioners and general practice nurses. We have a structured management team and experienced admin and reception team. We are a training practice and welcome registrars and medical students.
