Are you looking for a new opportunity to develop new skills? Ideally, we are looking for one or two candidates to cover reception ad hoc practice extended opening hours. Every Monday, and alternate Tues, Wed and Friday's between 6pm and 8pm and alternate Saturday mornings.
We need a reliable, enthusiastic people who enjoy working in
a busy, ever-changing customer service environment.
Previous medical receptionist/administrative experience is desirable not
essential, as we can provide training for the right candidate.
Main duties of the job
Your role will ensure a professional and efficient reception service is provided to patients and other visitors both face to face and over the telephone.
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent
verbal and written communication skills, be confident, professional and
compassionate at all times.

St Augustine's Medical Practice is based in the new Chocolate Quarter development in Keynsham, we have two branch surgeries one in Temple House and one in nearby Saltford.
Our purpose built modern spacious premises, easily commutable from Bath/Bristol and surrounding areas and a short walk from Keynsham train station / high street. There are many amenities at the Chocolate Qtr including an on-site gym/spa facility, with pool, offered at a discounted rate for NHS staff, as well as coffee shop and restaurant. Staff well being is a priority, we have regular social events, team meetings, huddles, education and training sessions.
Our friendly team is part of our diverse and changing workforce, which consists of GPs, nurses, paramedics, pharmacists, health care assistants, and other allied health professionals.
We have regular meetings to manage and continually improve our patient care. We are passionate about training the next generation having been teaching practice for many years. We are a research practice with opportunity to broaden horizons.
We are part of the Keynsham Primary Care Network which includes West View Surgery. Working together allows us to take on bigger projects that we couldn't do alone and share good practice.
