Job summary
We are looking to recruit 2 qualified
salaried GPs to join our growing multi-disciplinary team, working 4-8 sessions
(20-40 hours). Anyone with enthusiasm,
interests in teaching and the desire to progress their own development is very
welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
Agreed job plan as per BMA contract
Morning/Evening surgery
Patient enquiries/Tasks related to GP contact or named GP
Dictation for referrals - As necessary from patient contacts
Streamlined electronic post and results - Allocation capped on a
sessional basis
Patient visits One per session as a maximum, usually less with
allocated time
Dispensary -Tasks related to patient contacts. Sign scripts in dispensary.
Informal post-surgery discussion Encouraged and as needed with
any experienced colleague.
Meetings: Significant Event Meetings, Educational meetings and
social events.Clinical meetings option of remotely via MS Teams.
Medication Reviews.
Allocation of Enhanced Access hours shared across GP team
Student
support/Clinician support surgeries.
