Job summary

We are recruiting for a Rota Coordinator to join our busy administrative team at the Ridings Medical Group.

We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic individual who possesses good communication and organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure. You will be working as part of the access team to ensure rotas are applied and kept up to date. You will also need the ability to work under your own initiative and organise your workload.

The successful candidate will be working 30-37.5 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

To provide support to the Rota Coordinator in the provision of clinical Rota's across the group Practice. Coordination of annual leave, sick leave and study leave requests.

To be mainly based at Brough, South Cave and Hessle but will need to be prepared to travel to other sites within the Practice.

We are a large, forward thinking practice with over 45,000 patients across five main practice sites - Brough, South Cave, Hessle, Holme on Spalding Moor and Bubwith. Each of these sites has its own personal characteristics and a varied patient mix as we cover commuting areas for Hull, Leeds and York, due to easy access to A63/M62, and also rural East Yorkshire.

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast paced working environment and be able to adapt to change easily. You will need to have a strong work ethic and be able to work to tight deadlines.

  • Practical experience of working with complex (and often conflicting) information.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Previous practical experience of managing rotas.
