Job summary
Firth Park Surgery are seeking to recruit a Rota /Administrator required to work with our friendly team and provide extra rota admin relief cover. The successful
applicant will need to be enthusiastic, have excellent attention to detail and
the ability to prioritise an inter-changeable workload. The post is part time. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication
skills, and the ability to learn to multitask and be able to work under
pressure.

Annual leave starts at 5 weeks increasing by 1 day per year
worked up to 6 weeks.

Main duties of the job
The Rota /Administrator will be responsible for the administration of the Doctor and trainee rota, production of rota schedules, adding appointment schedules of templates on EMIS & production of trainee and Medical student Induction & timetables. Production of weekly rota sheets. Administering GP & PA rota and arranging locum cover as necessary. The rota includes scheduling daily Duty Dr, On-Call responsibilities, Lead visit, debriefs for junior doctors, 1to1s for trainees with their trainer, GP admin time, Contraceptive clinics, Minor Surgery clinics, Nursing Home cover, Baby clinic, Extended hours and scheduling a range of clinicians meetings, and teaching sessions. Administering the Tutorial rota. Preparing & emailing weekly rota sheets to all the team so all GPs are aware of their responsibilities. Dealing with all GP Partners, Salaried doctor, Registrars, PAs, F2s and trainees annual leave & study leave requests and maintaining all associated administrative records. Administering Medical Students, 3As, 3Bs, Imperial College Students, Physician Associate placements rotas and trainee induction rotas & timetables. Each month email the GP Collaborative with monthly Duty Dr & On-call sheet for their information. The
administration of the Nurses/HCAs/attached staff rotas and templates. Summarising
and scanning of records. referrals to other services. processing incoming documents and coding ,Other
administrative duties as requested by the Admin Lead

Essential
- GCSE from Grade C or equivalent in Maths & English
Experience

- Strong IT skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel packages
