Our ever-growing practice in the West of Southampton with its rich maritime heritage is inviting applications for a GP Partner or Salaried Doctor to join our dedicated team.

Main duties of the job

GP Partner or Salaried Position We welcome applications from both experienced GPs and newly qualified doctors.

Competitive Package: Attractive remuneration package. We offer 6 weeks annual leave and 1 week study leave pro rata.

We have a list size of around 15,500 patients and are a team of 8 partners and 6 salaried GPs working across 2 sites in the west of Southampton Cheviot Road Surgery and Shirley Avenue Surgery. Each doctor is based on one site overseeing their own list of patients. We have an excellent, dedicated team of practice nurses, Healthcare Assistants and an admin workflow team of GPA's and Care Coordinators.

Job responsibilities

You will form an integral part of the surgery and responsible for your list of patients, including the administration of documents, results, referrals.

You will have sound understanding of local pathways and the referral processes supported by our dedicated typing and referral team.

You will form part of our duty system that means you are available for home visit triage and visits, supported but our PCN Acute Home Visiting Service.

You will work collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality, patient-focussed healthcare
