We are seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within a busy clinical environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your nursing skills, support patient wellbeing, and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal health outcomes. We are particularly keen for the applicant to have respiratory and diabetic knowledge

Main duties of the job

  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including health assessments, vaccinations, and wound management
  • Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals during consultations and procedures
  • Monitor patient vital signs and record medical histories accurately
  • Educate patients on health management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with data protection regulations
  • Support the organisation of clinics and manage appointment schedules efficiently
  • Ensure the clinical environment adheres to health and safety standards, including infection control protocols
  • Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay updated with best practices in nursing care
