Job summary
Red House Group in Hertfordshire is looking for an experienced professional for a Data and IT Manager role.
Reporting to the Practice Manager, the core responsibilities of this role include:
- Responsibility for delivering achievement of all contractual targets QOF, IIF, ECF, Immunisation
- Use of existing and new IT platforms to achieve the above, adapting and innovating when needed
- Coordination of clinical and administrative teams to facilitate the above

Main duties of the job
- Ensure a good knowledge of service specifications eg QOF, ECF, IIF, imms and plan how to achieve these targets through co-ordinating nursing and pharmacist clinics
- Perform EMIS and Ardens searches, audits, and reports to maximise target attainment.
- Monitoring recall register. This may include creating and modifying EMIS and Accurax templates/protocols/forms/documents
- Complete and submit monthly or quarterly enhanced service claims
- Monitor weekly/monthly care home specification requirements to ensure these are met
- Update website, screen slides in waiting rooms and answer phone messages as necessary
- Organise and coordinate annual Flu/Covid Campaign with logistical oversight to ensure supply, patient invites, clinics
- Be involved in project work (e.g. new software/app launch) as directed by Practice Manager. Participate in practice improvement and digital transformation projects
- Manage 4-5 admin staff members (rota/annual leave/absences) of the support team and carry out appraisals/development support
- Set up IT profiles etc for new starters including Smartcard. Assist in the training of new staff on EMIS system. Support with IT issues to ensure smooth running of the clinics. Working with IT lead to help facilitate new IT solutions.
