Job summary
We are
seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our dynamic and forward-thinking
team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established team
to provide high quality patient care.
As a
Practice Nurse, you will work alongside our GPs, clinicians, and administrative
staff to support in delivering patient care.
The ideal candidate will have a keen
interest in providing outstanding care to patients, is able to work
independently and as part of a team and communicates effectively.
We are looking for a caring and
professional individual with excellent communication skills who can work well
both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have
previous experience as a Practice Nurse, preferably in a primary care setting.
We would welcome applications from
nursing associates who hold a General Practice Nurse (GPN) certification.
Main duties of the job
- General treatment procedures, including venepuncture,
observations and ECGs
- Routine immunisations and childhood immunisations
- Smears/Cytology
- Health screening and advice
