Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Practice Manager to help lead and develop our newly merged practice team of 60+ staff who deliver our services, from four practice sites, to 30,000 ethnically and economically diverse patients located in Oxford City. We are a very friendly practice which values mutual support, communication, and learning. We are focused on the wellbeing of our staff and are Investors in People. We hold regular whole team events in work, staff activities out of work, and weekly yoga sessions in person or online. We are a single practice PCN.

Main duties of the job

Your key duties will be to lead on Human Resources and managing staff. This will include recruitment and training. In these tasks you will be supported by DCL Business Services, who provide specialist HR support. Other duties include managing complaints and ensuring a smooth day to day running of the business. You will also lead on Health and Safety policies and ensuring that the practice is fully compliant with the CQC requirements.
