Phoenix Health Group is looking for a half time partner (4 sessions) to join our happy and thriving practice in Cirencester.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will jointly be responsible for one of our patient lists, working alongside another part-time GP Partner on opposite days. We pride ourselves on our continuity of care and together, they will be responsible for providing high standards of care to their patients.

Our daily rotas combine a mixture of routine and acute appointments, with acute presentations being shared with our Urgent Care Practitioners. The successful candidate will also be jointly responsible for the admin associated with their list, including prescriptions, letters and pathology.

The team supports each other during absence by sharing out cover and we have a team of Salaried GPs who cover absent Partner workload during planned absence.

  • Our patients come from a varied demographic. Mix of urban, rural and University general practice.
  • We use SystmOne.
  • Monthly PLTs for support, daily clinical coffee for the whole team, Friday Partners lunches.
  • Our in-house specialities include minor surgery, dermoscopy, LARC fitting, specialist menopause and womens health clinic, joint injections, acupuncture.
