Job summary
We are looking to recruit a fully qualified and experienced Physician Associate who will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a patient-facing role in the Central/West London area. The practice we are looking for specifically is called Pembridge Villas Surgery.
Pembridge Villas Surgery is a practice in Westbourne Grove/Notting Hill area and has 15,000 patients. It has one of the highest patient satisfaction ratings, year on year, in North West London.
This is an exciting opportunity in which you will gain experience and make a real impact. This role is pivotal to improving the quality of care and operational efficiencies so requires motivation and passion to deliver excellent service within General Practice.
This is a face to face role and you will be seeing patients in a Primary Care Setting.
We currently have 4 PAs in our PCN. This is replacing someone who is leaving to travel after working for over 3 years in our PCN.

You should have completed the Physician Associate program and passed the Physician Associate National Examination, be a member of the Faculty of Physician Associates at the Royal College of Physicians (RCP); including PA Managed Voluntary Registration.
You will need to be flexible in your approach to work, support management of patients conditions through offering specialised clinics following appropriate training
Provide health/disease promotion and prevention advice
Undertake face-to-face consultations for emergency or routine problems
Using appropriate referral pathways, refer patients to other services
Provide patient care; focused history taking, clinical assessment, diagnoses, treatment and evaluation of care; all under supervision of a named GP

West Hill Health covers a population of 90,000 patients in Central/West London. We are made up of 10 practices who have large MDT teams. We have four training practices and are well equipped at supporting learning and training. We are developing a wide range of services to support general practice across the area and we are looking at innovative ways to develop our workforce.
The salary for the role is £45,000 to £55,00 per annum (depending on experience) for a full time post, 37.5 hours per week (calculated pro-rata for part time hours).
