An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join our busy and progressive General Practice as a Practice Nurse. We are looking for either a fully qualified nurse, who is looking to take on a new challenge and complete the practice nurse training, which will be fully sponsored and with a university qualification.
Operating out of modern premises our practice is within walking distance of Royal Oak tube station our highly regarded practice cares for 18000 patients in an area of social and cultural diversity. We have 14 doctors, 3 nurses, 3 pharmacists, 4 Health Care assistants, 1 social prescriber, 1 pharmacy technician and 19 admin team members.
The successful candidate will be a qualified nurse with some post qualification experience and strong interpersonal skills and be a keen team player. The role will involve caring for our population in general practice doing roles such as baby immunisations, smears, wound care, travel clinics and chronic disease management. We are happy to support training a hospital or community based nurse in primary care nursing.
The role is a full time position and will involve working 37.5 hrs per week. We would also consider part time applications.

Grand Union Health Centre is a central London GP Practice with over 20,000 patients in a diverse area. We have a fabulous team of health care professionals.
We also have numerous allied services operating out of the same building, with specialised care for the over 65s, smoking cessation, health visitors and paediatric clinics. We work in West Hill Health Primary Care Network Team which has 10 practices and 80,000 patients. The role would be to work in an established PCN team of over 30 staff members, that will be located in a maximum of 2 practices, but looking after patients from any of our practices.
