We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Locality
Manager to join our successful group of 4 general practices in and around the
Walsall area.
Umbrella
Medical is a growing partnership with a very strong emphasis on providing high quality accessible care. We are
currently CQC OUTSTANDING (2 practices) and continue to build on that foundation. We
recognise that general practice is changing and in order to continue to provide
excellent care we are offering the above position.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate
excellent leadership, communication & organisational skills to work
alongside a group of Locality Managers supported by the Group & Deputy
Group Practice Manager in managing and coordinating the day to day running of
the practices.
The post-holder will monitor the
organisation and individual practices and contribute to the delivery of high
quality GMS/APMS services and adherence to both national and local enhanced
services.
The successful candidate will have:
Experience of working in General Practice or the NHS
Experience of using clinical systems
Proven
leadership qualities with the ability to motivate others
A
commitment to maintaining and improving quality Experience
of facilities and premises management
FULL TIME/PART TIME HOURS

Main duties of the job
To purpose of the role is to manage and coordinate the day to day running of the Umbrella Medical practices
through adequate staffing levels and coordination of clinical and non-clinical
work. To monitor the organisation and individual practices and contribute to
the delivery of high quality GMS / APMS services and adherence to both national
and local enhanced services.
To
ensure the organisation & practices meet their agreed aims and objectives providing
outstanding leadership within a safe, efficient and effective working
environment.
