West Walk Surgery

Research Nurse / Study Coordinator

The closing date is 05 November 2025

Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse to join our friendly, well organised, and supportive research team at our GP surgery for around 24hrs a week, to include a Wednesday, Friday, and either Monday or Thursday. This post is available from December, but we are happy to wait for the right candidate.

We have recently been selected by the NIHR and Department of Health and Social Care to be a Primary Care Commercial Research Delivery Centre (PC-CRDC), which is due to go-live from 1st November

Heavily involved in commercial research for over 10 years, our busy clinical trials unit runs studies covering the whole scope of General Practice. Please see our website www.southglosresearch.org.uk for more details about our site and the studies we run.

Previous research experience would be beneficial, but not essential, and full training and support will be provided by our experienced team. This could be an exciting change to your normal practice nurse role. Patients are generally very motivated to take part in these studies.
