Job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacist to join our multidisciplinary Team at Woolpit Health Centre. Our Pharmacy is Practice-based and fully integrated within the Health Centre, meaning Pharmacists work with the support of the Multidisciplinary Healthcare Team with full access to patient notes.

We provide the perfect environment for Pharmacists career and clinical development, integral to the job role we are offering the opportunity and support to achieve Independent Prescriber status.

Main duties of the job

While working within the Dispensary / Pharmacy the Pharmacist will work with the team to deliver Pharmacy services according to the Community Pharmacy Contract including assisting with the dispensing process. Duties include but are not limited to; Assisting patients to optimise their medication use, supporting the multidisciplinary team with all medication-based queries, and assisting in the leadership, learning, and development of Pharmacy Team members.

Woolpit Health Centre is a large, rural practice situated in the picturesque medieval village of Woolpit. We are very easily reached by the A14 from Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge and Ipswich.
