Job summary
Abbey Road Surgery are looking for an enthusiastic,
caring and committed full time Salaried GP to join our successful and
well-respected training practice, offering flexible sessions and competitive
sessional rates.
Main duties of the job
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
Prescribe and manage treatment plans.
Coordinate with specialist and community teams.
Promote screening and preventative care.
Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings.

About us
We are in the process of merger with a neighbouring practice
which will create a list size of over 14,000 patients. Abbey Road Surgery are a
supportive and friendly team made up of 5 GP's, 3 Practice Nurses, 3 HCA/GPAs
and a superb administration team and Risedale Surgery team is made up of 5
GP's, 1 pharmacist, 4 Practice Nurses, 1 Nurse Associate and 2 HCA/GPAs as
well as the superb administration team.
Both surgeries are a high achieving practice with
consistently excellent QOF results offering staff and patients a friendly and
supportive multi-disciplinary team. We are based in south Cumbria just 30 minutes
drive from Lake Windermere and the Lake District. We are looking for a Salaried
GP to join our successful and well-respected training practice.
We are part of a strong, successful Primary Care Network and
have strong links with community teams such as Health Visitors, Safeguarding
Teams, Macmillan Nurses and Case Management. We can offer attractive terms and
