Springfield Surgery has an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our busy and friendly practice team. We are looking for a part time receptionist/administrator who would like to be part of a thriving, forward thinking GP practice in Hazel Grove, Stockport.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be flexible and able to multi-task in the reception/administrator role and undertake a range of duties including:
- Signposting to Pharmacy First
- Filing/scanning
- Communicating with patients, clinicians & external organisations both on the telephone and face to face
- Make appointments & respond to various queries
- other general support to colleagues as required
About us
You will be an integral part of the Practice team, working with reception team, Medical secretaries & clinical staff.
Extra hours and flexibility will be expected to cover colleagues holidays and sickness
Maintaining and monitoring the practice appointments system
Processing patient requests
for appointments, visits and telephone consultations, and ensuring callers
are directed to the appropriate healthcare professional and service provider.
Working hours will be: Wednesday 8am-12.30pm Thursday 8am-4pm Friday 8am-6pm
