Job summary

We require one additional Medical Scanner to join our Medical Records Team. Ideally, we are looking for someone with previous medical scanning experience within SystmOne although not essential.

You will need to have the ability to work in a methodical manner, having excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate input of medical information and assigning of appropriate codes. The ability to work in a quiet environment is essential.

Main duties of the job

  • To scan all medical information and code where protocol allows,medical information from the hospital letters and input into the patient computer record. Adhering to the strict protocols to maintain a fully electronic patient record.
  • Support other staff in specific medical records tasks.
  • Distribute internal boxes and opening incoming post.
  • To portray the Practice in a positive light.
  • To carry out any other reasonable instructions
