Housekeeper
Required
15 Hours per week 17:30-20:30pm Monday to Friday
£10.42 per hour
We have an opportunity for a hard-working, conscientious person with a positive approach to join our housekeeping team. Contracted hours of work are 06:30 am to 09:30 am at the Larwood Surgery in Worksop. However, the flexibility to provide additional hours for the absence of colleagues is essential at our sites in Worksop and Langold.
The main base for the role will be Larwood Surgery in Worksop but you may
be required to travel to any of our sites, therefore access to your own
transport is essential, along with the flexibility to cover occasional additional
hours. Previous key holder
responsibilities desirable.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for a high standard of cleaning throughout our sites and ideally will have previous experience of infection control procedures.
Previous Key Holder experience is desirable.

Job responsibilities
- To open and secure
premises as necessary
- All paintwork when
necessary and light fittings
- Bed frames, windows,
curtain rails, desks and screens
- All surfaces both high
and low levels, including book shelves, radiators, mirrors, sinks, doors
including architrave, bed frames
- All touch points (e.g. door
handles, light switches, keypads, keyboards, phones)
- Upholstery - spot clean
of any stains (e.g. carpets and chairs)
- Cleaning of equipment identified
by your manager
- Deep cleaning specific
areas
- Vacuum and wash floor
areas as appropriate ensuring wet floor signs are in place where necessary
- Buffing floors
- Using spills kits as
required
- Toilet areas and
replacing toilet rolls and soap
- Refill towel dispensers
and couch rolls
- Notify for re-ordering of
consumables
- Empty and clean waste
paper bins
- Removal of clinical waste
- Domestic fridges empty
and wipe out following protocol
- Clean water dispenser including
filter tray
- To follow cleaning manual
protocols at all times
- Completing cleaning schedules
- Any other reasonable
request made by line manager or management
