Job summary
The Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) will work autonomously
within their scope of practice, managing a diverse caseload, assessing,
diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with acute and chronic conditions.
While the ANP will make independent clinical decisions, they will always have
access to GP support when needed.
The role involves working as an ANP on Duty, handling urgent
and routine cases, and supporting the delivery of high-quality primary care
services. Additionally, the ANP will undertake clinical administrative
responsibilities, such as reviewing test results, managing specialist
instructions, and contributing to chronic disease management.

About us
We are an established training practice comprising of two
surgeries. We are providing medical services to a list of 13700 patients across
the two sites, with a multi-disciplinary team of GPs, Paramedic, PNs,
Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technicians, HCAs, Health and Well-Being team and a
supportive non-clinical team.

Essential
- Registered Nurse with active NMC registration.
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent qualification.
- Independent Prescriber (V300).
- Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to work autonomously with GP support available.
- Experience in managing acute and long-term conditions.
- Excellent communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience working as an ANP in a GP surgery.
- Experience with EMIS.
- Minor illness and minor injury training.
