Job summary

Central Surgery is seeking two enthusiastic, motivated and committed Practice Nurses to join our vibrant and welcoming team.

Located in the historic town of Barton-upon-Humber with a branch surgery in the picturesque village of Goxhill. We are close to the city of Hull whilst still obtaining a rural lifestyle. The area has excellent primary and secondary schools and Hull has top rated private schools. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside whilst remaining within the motorway network giving easy access to Lincoln, Leeds and York.

We are active in our local Primary Care Network with two of our GP Partners acting as Clinical Director and the Practice acted as the COVID19 Vaccine hub during the COVID19 pandemic.

Main duties of the job

Job Summary:

• To provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care and services for the practice population.
• Additionally, providing nursing assistance to the doctors and other members of the primary healthcare team.The duties will include all tasks normally undertaken by an experienced Practice Nurse and in addition any roles agreed between the nurse and the doctors as appropriate, having regard to current training. The post holder will ideally be expected to run chronic disease management clinics in diabetes.
