Job summary
We are looking for a Data Quality Lead to join our team, we are looking for someone who has ideally previously worked in Primary Care or Secondary Care and has experience in using systm1 (experience in using Clinical Reporting is advantageous). The hours are on a rotational shift pattern Monday-Friday, but will fall within our core hours of 7.45am-6.30pm.
The post available is for up to 37.5 hours per week (however we are willing to consider a job share if the right candidates are looking for fewer hours).
You will be working predominately at The Boulevard Medical Practice but will be required to work at our branch site Horne Street Surgery on a rota basis.

You may be required to work overtime occasionally to cover for absences, this includes a Saturday morning. The practice is also developing services with other local practices and there may be opportunities to work in the future at other local practices or for the delivery of extended hours.
Main duties of the job
Your role will be predominately working within our admin team. Your main duties will be as follows:
- Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date patient records.
- Review and correct data errors, duplicates, and missing information.

Ensure coding accuracy using SNOMED CT / Read Codes and support clinical templates.
- Generate and analyse reports for QOF, audits, and performance monitoring.

Support staff with correct data entry and recall processes.

Ensure compliance with GDPR and Information Governance standards.

Participate in audits and data quality improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to improve data processes.
Importing/ updating referral forms/ letter templates as required
Clinical Coding of correspondence
Internal/ External mail handling
Monitoring our E-consultation inbox and NHS Mail inbox.
Training/ supporting other members of the Patient Services Team
- Attend Practice meetings and contribute to Admin meetings
Applicants will need to be able to work well within a team setting but also independently when required.
The practice is committed to the development of all staff.
Applicants must have GCSE or equivalent passes at grade C or above in Math's and English.

The purpose of The Boulevard Medical Practice is to offer care, support and advice to all patients to enable them to maximise their quality of life.
We are a very busy surgery within central Halifax. We have two sites that we currently work across- The Boulevard Medical Practice and Horne Street Surgery.
We currently have about 17000 patients registered with the practice.
The current team is built up of:
- 5 GP Partners
- 14 Registrars
- 6 Advanced Practitioners
- 1 Practice Pharmacist
- 3 Practice Nurses
- 3 Phlebotomists
- Additional Roles such as; Podiatrist, Physiotherapists, Social Prescribers, Physician Associates, GP Assistants, Care Coordinators, Paramedics.
The Clinical Team is supported by a large Patient Services Team- split into Reception and Admin area's.
