Are you a motivated, patient-centred GP looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking practice
where you can truly make a difference? We have an opportunity for you to join our friendly,
multi-disciplinary clinical team in Bedford.
We are committed to providing outstanding care to our patients while fostering a supportive
and collaborative environment for our clinicians. We welcome applications from both newly
qualified and experienced GPs, with salary and support depending on your experience. We
offer flexibility in sessions and the opportunity to discuss tailored working arrangements to
suit your needs.
Main duties of the job
Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions in a primary care setting.
Provide evidence based treatment and patient centred care.
Manage chronic diseases.
Offer advice and support on mental health and lifestyle management.
Maintain accurate clinical records.

Job responsibilities
Work-life balance: Flexible rota setup with adaptable start/finish times.
Manageable workload: 13 patients per session with no additional home visits.
Strong clinical support: Experienced admin & secretarial team to reduce your
admin burden
Modern GP approach: Established total triage system using SystmConnect,
supported by care navigators and making best use of appointments.
Mentorship & development: Monthly in-house mentoring for at least the first 6
months.
Training practice: Supportive learning culture with medical students, F2s, GP
registrars, pre-reg pharmacists, and additional roles.
Opportunities for special interests: Get involved in teaching, lead on an area or
develop a clinical specialty.
Multi-disciplinary team: Work alongside GPs, pharmacists, paramedics, practice
nurses, advanced clinical practitioners, first-contact physios, care navigators,
pharmacy technicians and HCAs.
Leadership & support: Approachable, engaged partners with dedicated
management time to resolve issues, plus an excellent senior management team.
6 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays, with an optional additional week of
study leave.
