We are seeking a passionate and skilled Contraception Specialist Nurse to join our friendly primary care team for 1 day per week. You will be supported by our lead GP in sexual and reproductive Health. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive contraception services to our diverse patient population, ensuring access to high-quality, patient-centred care.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Fitting and removal of intrauterine devices (IUD/IUS) and contraceptive implants.
  • Providing personalised contraception advice
  • Supporting patients in making informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health
  • Conducting follow-up appointments and managing any complications or concerns for patients
  • Maintaining accurate and thorough clinical records in line with best practices
