Job summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic GP to come and join our team for 4 sessions per week. Set in the village of Wool in the heart of the Purbecks we are lucky enough to have some of the most spectacular coastline nearby.
Main duties of the job
Provide high quality patient care
Carry out surgery, telephone and video consultations and undertake home visits
Liaise with other team members and organisations involved in patient care and respond promptly to queries
Investigate and refer patients as appropriate in line with current guidance
Hold a patient list and deal promptly with results and correspondence
Provide cover as required when other GPs are on leave
collect data for audit and QoF purposes
Excellent communication with patients and carers
Attend clinical, clinical governance and educational meetings
Strong team player
Strong collaborative working relationships with partners and all team members
Effectively manage own time, workload and resources
Attend required training events
Reporting of Significant Incidents involving the practice

We are a friendly, supportive, semi rural dispensing practice
which currently comprises 3 partners, 2 salaried GPs, highly skilled nursing
staff and efficient admin, reception and dispensing teams. We are GPST2/3 training practice and would welcome further potential GP trainers. We operate from modern, purpose built
premises and provide high quality care to 6,000 patients. We are a high achieving, training practice that
uses SystmOne. We have no care homes in our catchment area and have a low number of visit requests.
