Main duties of the job

  • Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and video consultations for a diverse patient list.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions in line with best practice and clinical guidelines.
  • Provide health education, preventative care, and lifestyle advice tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Manage repeat prescriptions, referrals, and follow-up care efficiently and accurately.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, healthcare assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records using our clinical systems - EMIS WEB

Essential

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
  • Inclusion on the NHS GP Performers List.
  • MRCGP qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Current indemnity cover and enhanced DBS check.
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills and a patient-first mindset.
  • Adaptability and confidence working in different practice settings.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to care.
