Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused ARRS Salaried GP to join our Primary Care Network (PCN). This is an excellent opportunity to work across member practices within a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, safe, and effective primary care services.
The postholder will support the delivery of PCN service specifications, enhanced access provision, and proactive population health management initiatives.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join our Primary Care Network (PCN), working collaboratively across our member practices to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
The postholder will play a key role in supporting the delivery of enhanced services and PCN-led projects, with a particular focus on improving outcomes for patients with long-term conditions and reducing health inequalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality GP consultations (face-to-face, telephone and online) across the PCN/practices
- Manage a varied clinical caseload, including acute presentations and long-term conditions
- Support delivery of PCN priorities, including quality improvement initiatives and enhanced services (e.g. hypertension management, prevention programmes)
- Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team, including pharmacists, social prescribers, and health and wellbeing coaches
- Contribute to QOF, PCN DES and local incentive schemes
- Participate in clinical meetings, MDT discussions, and service development
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records in line with GMC standards
