Job summary

This role is within the dispensary at the Roxton Practice based on 2 sites.

If you have excellent communication skills with members of the public and working colleagues and an interest in medication and their uses then this could be the job for you.

Main duties of the job

To provide excellent dispensing services to the relevant patients of the Roxton Practice in a timely manner.

About us

We are currently based on 2 sites and are a team of 14 looking to add 2 more to the team. We have an excellent team that always work together and provide support to each other when needed.

We work to deadlines which can be stressful at times but we pull together and get things done.

We are a good team and will very much welcome the right person into the team.

Unqualified staff must be prepared to undertake Buttercups level 2 course in Dispensing. (equivalent to NVQ level 2 )

  • No experience necessary as full training will be given

Desirable

  • Experience working within a GP practice is desirable not essential as full training will be given

Qualifications

Desirable

  • NVQ 2 in Pharmacy skills desirable but not essential
  • In General practice or pharmacy setting desirable but not essential
  • Skills using Pharmacy
  • references , both online & offline including the Drug Tariff. desirable but not essential
  • Understanding of medicines legislation and ethics desirable but not essential
  • Experience of system one or other clinical software desirable but not essential
