Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and forward-thinking
individual to join our Data & Administration team. Working closely with the Partners and your colleagues
across the organisation, you will ensure the practice correctly maintains data integrity
and accuracy ensuring the practice maximises its income.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for undertaking a wide range of data inputting duties in support of the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to, EMIS searches, QoF achievement, read coding information from patients clinical records, correspondence from other care service providers and other sources on the practice clinical system, adhering to policy and procedure, deputising for the Information manager.

GP practice based in Birkenhead, the Wirral. 3 GP Partners supported by 3 salaried GP's, a team of Advanced Nurse Practitioners and practice nurses. Supported by a reception team and data and admin team.

- Read Coding data on EMIS Web
- Help achieve high QoF outcomes
- Extracting the required data from clinical
correspondence and inputting the data into the patients electronic healthcare
record
- Coding all secondary care (hospital) letters
- Monitoring patient call and recall systems
- Maintain effective security of data all times
- Carry out effective searches, audits and
recalls
- Support the team in the use of the clinical
system
- Provide guidance in trouble shooting when
requested
- Act as a liaison between the practice and
manage all fault reporting
- Configure searches and interpret data for audit
purposes
- Summarise patients notes
- Initiate data quality improvement projects
- Collate the required data for reporting
purposes
- Ensure new patient records are received
electronically and imported onto the clinical system
- Process patient online applications as required
- Code results and upload data as required
- Carry out prescribing duties with prescription
requests and medical discharges
- Management of medical records
- Help with IT in the practice
