We are looking for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join our dynamic and supportive general practice team in Probus, mid Cornwall. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced primary care setting.
Main duties of the job
You will be required to work within our multi-disciplinary on call team
providing specialist knowledge and advice on medical matters and treating
urgent on the day cases. You will be required to carry out telephone calls and
face to face clinics.
You will also be required to offer advice and guidance to our growing team
which includes Doctors, ANPs, Nurse practitioners, Pharmacists, dispensers,
pharmacy technicians, Nurses, HCAs, reception, and admin team.

Job responsibilities
- Experienced Prescribing Practitioner will act autonomously within their professional scope of practice providing care for patients face to face, telephone or electronic consultations and home visits.
- The post holder will operate within their own sphere of competence and agreed acceptable limits of practice to provide expert professional clinical advice to patients, carers, and colleagues, ensuring clinical safety and excellence.
- The Prescribing Practitioner will need to prioritise and triage the needs of patients, accordingly, making any necessary referrals for investigations in the appropriate manner.
- The post holder will use skills, knowledge, and competencies as a qualified Practitioner to be responsible and accountable for managing patient caseloads for treatments, referral, admission and discharging patients as appropriate.
