Job summary

We are looking for qualified Healthcare Assistants to join our bank on a zero hour basis. You are in control of when you would like to work across our two sites. We working evenings and weekends to provide out of hours services to patients registered to the local area

Main duties of the job

We are flexible with what skills you can bring to the role. As a healthcare assistant the main duties may include phlebotomy, blood pressure readings, taking patients height/ weight and providing injections.

Any additional skills would be great

Together with our GP members, we deliver improved health care in the community to over 215,000 residents, by bringing care closer to patients homes.

We work in partnership with commissioners, local hospitals, the third sector and our patients to provide community based, medically-led services.

Wound care / Dressings / Management

Clip and suture removals

NHS health checks

Blood pressure checks

Venepuncture

Learning disability / Mental health reviews

ECGs

Chaperoning and assisting patients where appropriate

Lifestyle advice

Flu injections

CHD reviews

Fitting and removing of 24 hour BP monitor

Assisting minor surgery / coil fits / implants

Re-stocking of consulting rooms, storage cupboards, etc.

Stock taking

Stock ordering

Vaccine / cold chain storage monitoring and recording

Maintain, clean and check function of appropriate equipment used within the surgery

Long term condition reviews
