.The successful candidate will support the Head of Quality Improvement to drive forward the clinical agenda. The role is a key clinical leadership post, working to ensure that every patient receives the very best possible clinical care.

The role requires working closely with local healthcare partners to develop innovative new pathways into acute and community services, as well as a focus on the development of acute care such as services for cardiac, stroke, septic and trauma patients.

The Clinical Lead will support the implementation of national, local and Trust clinical performance indicators, ambulance quality indicators and quality standards by designing, implementing and monitoring the Trusts local clinical practices, to ensure that the Trust meets statutory governance obligations and to contribute to continued improved performance and service delivery.

They will support the completion of action plans arising from national and local audit and research outcomes, NICE guidance, national service frameworks and clinical governance initiatives, as well supporting and developing clinical training and educational programmes.
