Pathology IT Manager

The Pathology department at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is looking to recruit a Pathology IT manager to lead a team of specialist staff who deal with all aspects of Pathology IT and Business Reporting.

The post holder will be responsible for the management and operation of the Laboratory IT systems across all three UHL sites, including technical support, troubleshooting, system development and upgrades.

As the main point of contact for all Pathology IT and data related issues you will develop key working relationships with all Pathology users building effective lines of communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

You will have a critical role in ensuring that the Pathology IT infrastructure meets laboratory accreditation standards including UKAS and MHRA.

You will maintain the infrastructure, policies and processes required to deliver business information

With experience gained in a healthcare setting you will lead the development of the wider Pathology strategy and take ownership of all IT related activities in Pathology.
