A vacancy has arisen within Physiotherapy as part of the Integrated Community Cluster Teams in Portsmouth for a part time Band 4 Physiotherapy Technician/Associate Practitioner.

The role requires an experienced and motivated individual with excellent organisational skills, to work directly with patients referred to the Physiotherapy teams.

Patients will require a comprehensive assessment of their needs in this expanding role. You will provide evidence based exercise and advice, and work towards patient goals holding your own caseload. You will be encouraged, and required, to develop skills and knowledge related to our client group to enable you to provide a high quality holistic care. Team working within the Integrated Localities will be essential, and an understanding of statutory and non- statutory agencies will be required.

We provide a flexible workforce across Portsmouth City, but this post is based with the South Integrated Cluster team. We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic person with a background experience of working within health teams for a number of years who has a passion to support people to remainindependent within their communities.

We are supportive of any training opportunities and encourage personal development. The role will require you to be trained as a Postural Stability Instructor (PSI) by Later Life. You will flexibly support the Falls Prevention Exercise Classes as required, and may work part of your hours with this Team to ensure you maintain your PSI knowledge and skills.

This is an exciting time as our team is undergoing a process of integration with other health and social care teams, any new staff members will be expected to have a positive attitude to an ever changing health environment.
