Do you have a passion for working with adults and older people in a community setting? Then come and join our integrated Community Independence Service as a Community Physiotherapist! We have received additional funding into the service so that we can grow our therapy workforce.

You will be providing rehabilitation to adults and older people living at home who have physical health needs which may be complex and long term. A large component of this role is falls assessment and treatment and you will be given the opportunity to really develop your skills in this area.

You will have great communication and interpersonal skills and will be flexible and adaptable with enthusiasm for working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Experience of working with vulnerable adults with complex presentation in the community is essential. Regular support, supervision and training will be given and you will have the opportunity to supervise staff as well as students within the role.

This is a Band 6 post, however consideration would be given to a current experienced Band 5 physiotherapist, as a development post towards Band 6.
